Position description

The Department of Germanic Languages at UCLA seeks applications for a part-time and temporary Lecturer to teach one course for the 2019 spring quarter.
Responsibilities include preparing lessons and teaching a class on German literature in translation, focusing on the time period between Romanticism and present day. Classes involve regularly scheduled office hours to consult with students.
Requirements: Ph.D. in hand, preferably in German studies or related field, and experience teaching at the university level. Candidates should provide a letter of application, CV, and three names of reference.
