Job Description

The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks applicants for an Assistant Project Scientist position. The candidate must hold a PhD in biological oceanography, and have at least two years of experience beyond the PhD. The candidate must have detailed knowledge of organic components of bio-carbonates. The candidate must have demonstrated skills in proteomics and elemental and isotopic analyses. This position is part-time and is expected to be at 25-75% time.

Successful candidates will be expected to publish results in scientific journals and present results at national and international meetings.
