The Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology at UCLA seeks an Assistant Adjunct Professor
Duties:
Instruction in physiological sciences, with specific focuses on all of the following: neuroendocrinology, endocrinology, cancer therapy, and design and construction of mouse models of human disease. Service duties include planning and coordinating discussions and other class activities for courses; managing the acquisition and maintenance of course materials; developing computer applications for the classroom; and maintaining office hours. Establish and direct an extramurally funded research program that will bring enhanced human disease and therapeutics relevance to research being done in IBP.
Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in the life sciences with a strong publication record in neuroendocrinology, mouse models of human disease, and cancer therapeutics; demonstrated experience in undergraduate teaching at the university level. Level of appointment and salary commensurate with qualifications, experience and duties.
