Position description

UCLA’s Civil & Environmental Engineering Department will have openings for part-time teaching positions during the academic year. Teaching positions involve classroom instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level in the following areas:

• Structures
• Geotechnical
• Water Resources
• Environmental Engineering
• Earthquake Engineering
• Materials Engineering
• Transportation Engineering

The teaching positions require a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field, with prior classroom teaching preferred. Work and research experience will be considered. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering or related. Department will consider work experience and teaching experience in lieu of PhD in some circumstances.
