Position description

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral scholar.

Projects require an ability to design experiments, to manage their execution and to author peer-reviewed research papers. Candidates should have experience with cell biological techniques, such as cell culture, transfections, microscopy and with molecular and biochemical analysis.

Qualified applicants must have strong oral/written communication and critical thinking skills. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in imaging and a strong research background in mitochondrial biology. A Ph.D. is required.
