Position description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for Assistant Adjunct Professorships. Appointments are normally for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a third year. The teaching load is typically six one-quarter courses per year.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant area or expect to complete their Ph.D. by June 2024 and should show evidence of excellence in teaching and research. Preference will be given to applicants whose research connects to faculty interests in the department or who can address specific teaching needs.
