Position description
Applications are invited for the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Postdoctoral Fellowship in Iranian Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics at UCLA. The fellowship will have an initial appointment of two years, with up to one additional year. The preferred start date is September 23, 2024.
The selected candidate will conduct research in Iranian Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics at UCLA.
Applicant Qualifications: Scholars with research and publication experience are welcome to apply for the Elahé Omidyar Mir-Djalali Postdoctoral Fellowship in Iranian Linguistics. Applications will be accepted from individuals who have received a Ph.D. in Iranian Languages and Linguistics and related fields within the last ten years, or by the time of their appointment. Applicants shall also have knowledge of the Persian language and Iranian Linguistics.
Application Requirements: The applications must include: (a) a current resume/curriculum vitae; (b) a list of publications; (c) a research plan; (d) three reference letters from scholars in fields related to the proposed research; (e) identification of faculty members in the Department of Linguistics supporting the research plan; (f) sample (in English) of recent written work.

Qualifications
