SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Department of Education at UCLA seeks applications for a temporary, full-time lecturer to teach within the Department of Education’s undergraduate program, graduate program, and the Teacher Education program (TEP). The lecturer may also be assigned additional courses according to the instructional needs in the department and in conformity with departmental lecturer workload policies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, and the writing and grading of assignments and exams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A doctorate in Education or related discipline is required for graduate and undergraduate courses by date of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include previous teaching experience at the University level in the areas of Education, Teacher Education, Urban Schooling or similar.
