Position description

The Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles is looking for a Lecturer to teach logic and philosophy of mind courses for the 2024-2025 academic year, which begins July 1, 2024. This is a part-time, one-year position as Lecturer, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon a satisfactory performance review and approval of the Dean. Only those with previous teaching and training experience, and who have a Ph.D. should apply.

Salary range: See Table 15 ( https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2023-24/july-2023-acad-salary-scales/t15.pdf) for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is an annual salary rate of $66,259 which will then be prorated due to teaching workload based on appointment percentage.
