Position description
The Interdepartmental Program in the Study of Religion at the University of California, Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach two courses: The Meaning of Suffering and Problem of Evil and Religion during the 2024-25 academic year. These courses concentrate on the intersection of religion and philosophy in exploring human suffering, the existence of evil, and the human condition.
Applicants must have a PhD in Philosophy or Religious Studies and should have experience teaching in a university setting. The ideal candidate has experience teaching ethics and moral issues, with a grounding in philosophical traditions.

Qualifications
