Position description

The UCLA Department of Public Policy is receiving applications until open positions are filled for part-time lectureships (Non-Senate).

Responsibilities include teaching; conducting regularly scheduled office hours; and writing and grading papers/exams. Ability to work cooperatively with other faculty and department staff is essential.

We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and/or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.

Appointments are generally made by quarter for the following term dates as follows:
Summer (various session start dates): June-September
Fall: October 1 - December 31
Winter: January 1 - March 31
Spring: April 1 - June 30

Basic qualifications

Education, training, professional experience, or other forms of proven expertise in the subject matter to be covered by the course; evidence of experience and success with teaching and other forms of presenting the relevant substantive material to audiences comparable to students taking the course.
