Position description

The Department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, seeks applicants for an Assistant Project Scientist position. This position requires a PhD in the field of biology, and research experience in cell biology and mouse models. The responsibilities include experiments with cultured cells including analyzing knockout cells and small molecule treatments. The cells must be analyzed with a range of techniques including immunoblotting, immunofluorescence and flow cytometry. In addition, mouse models of disease must be analyzed using a range of methodologies including monitoring tumor growth, flow cytometry, and ELISA assays.

The position requires a PhD in a field of biology, research experience in cell culture and molecular biology, and responsibilities include analysis of cells and tissues.
