Adjunct Faculty in Nursing
The Joe C. Wen School of Nursing at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) seeks applicants for a full-time Adjunct Assistant Professor position. Qualified applicants will have a Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in nursing from an accredited program, current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California (or ability to obtain licensure by date of hire), and experience in one or more California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) nursing specialty areas (geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric-mental health nursing, obstetrics, or pediatrics).
Applicants must meet the academic and scholarly credentials for the Adjunct faculty series. Rank and salary will be commensurate with background and experience.

As part of the UCLA Center for Health Sciences, the Joe C. Wen School of Nursing is affiliated with the highly acclaimed UCLA Health System including the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Basic Qualifications:
• Doctorate (PhD or DNP) in nursing from an accredited program
• Current licensure in California as a Registered Nurse (RN) or ability to obtain licensure by date of hire
• Clinical experience at the RN level in geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric-mental health nursing, obstetrics, or pediatrics
• Teaching experience in an academic institution, in either face-to-face or remote learning modalities, preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and networking skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience to negotiate, creatively problem solve and interact in academic and clinical settings
• Evidence of innovation and creativity in curricular design and content implementation including classroom teaching and online presentation of content
